Wine Folly is a culture site offering articles and videos that will connect you to the world of wine. We’re in Seattle but travel around the world to curate the best wine values and the most awesome stories about wineries, regions and winemakers. Are you a winemaker and want to get involved? Tell us about what you’re doing.
Get wine smart. Subscribe to the Wine Folly updates right in your inbox. Currently, we make about three wine-education-packed articles a week. Subscribers get updates on Tuesdays with short excerpts of everything on the blog. Product releases and an entertaining “State of the Wine World” are less frequent. We promise not to annoy you (too much), and will never give-away/sell your email.

Advisor / Super Pal
I like abstract strategy mechanics, amateur woodworking, recreational nonviolent conflict, invisible forces, and double short americanos. I live in Seattle, where I touch really fragile things with kid gloves for a living.
Meet some of Wine Folly’s contributors
I love talking, writing, reading, learning, and teaching, about wine. It started to completely consume my life about ten years ago when I went to work in a winery and I’ve never looked back. I adore vino so much I even married a winemaker. That’s dedication.

As a kid, I could smell a watermelon being cut in the kitchen from my bedroom, a sensory superpower. Since then, I love to stick my nose into wine glasses, wine books, and other people’s business…that is, if they want to learn more about wine.
